This is patently false. DHS has authority to question and search people coming into the country at points of entry. But ICE may not detain and question anyone without reasonable suspicion — and certainly not based on their physical appearance alone. This lawlessness must stop.

ICE has arrested a 6-yr old with cancer. And now it's arrested a 71-yr old Grandmother - Barbara Stone. The one thing they had in common? They are both American citizens!

This kid was literally jailed and held in ice detention for 10 days.

People in the threads calling it a waste of time. Loving someone in earnest will never be a waste of time. Is it heartbreaking when it ends? Of course. Does that mean that time is lost? Absolutely not. Everything is ultimately temporary. That does not minimize the value it holds.

Sure, it's nice to sweep the floors and feed detainees before a visit, but that kind of defeats the whole point of oversight.
