Are there stats anywhere on the typical number of players who see the field any given week? Now, what was that number on Saturday against Portland State? Jarom Jordan Spencer Linton CougarStats BYU Stats, Man

BYU had 78 players appear in last week's game against Portland State, tying a program record (2021 Idaho State). Last year, 74 players got into the Southern Illinois game and BYU averaged 60 players per game against FBS opponents. #BYUFOOTBALL

Baden Yep. Definitely rotate more in these days. Last year, the fewest to appear in a game was against ASU (55). We had 9 different players catch a pass or run the ball. We had 21 players record a defensive state. Then add in all the special teams and O-line and it adds up.

With that impressive win over UCLA, Utah now sits at 2-7 over their last 9 games. (Don’t get mad at me, Twitter now pays me to start drama like this 😂)

Completely unnecessary and ill-timed take, but this is the first time I've watched a game he's coached since leaving BYU, other than when he came back to Provo in the VA return trip. BYU wasn't being held back by P4 exclusion or funding, but by Bronco and his staff.
