I’m finally supposed to go home tonight after returning from a showcase in San Diego. My dad and I both took pcr tests over 60 hours ago & still haven’t gotten the results. If they don’t come back in the next few hours we’ll be stuck in the states once again. $400 down the drain

Last week I was finally able to start crossing the border to train with my team while still living at home. If the borders close again, there is no training for me in Windsor and I might not be able to finish my last soccer season!? I thought I was done with these issues.

After only being able to cross the border for 2 weeks the testing requirements are increasing again. I am now being kept from finishing my last club soccer season and from practicing with my team before college. I can’t describe how upset I am right now. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

Schools are closed, the border is closed, gyms are closed. I can’t practice with my team, can’t practice in Windsor, I can’t even workout at the gym. I can’t believe one year later, I am in the exact same position I was last year. Only so much training I can do by myself.

Also, if you take away school, gatherings, gyms, extracurriculars, how do you expect kids to cope? I speak for not only myself, but for everyone, when I say that the mental health of teenagers is diminishing. I can’t believe the amount of kids my age that are struggling right now
