For those who may not know, 3rd Party Deduction is a fund which the Universities asked the FG to help them collect and send to some places, such as Cooperatives, Banks, etc. 2/6

The money was collected by the FG and they simply refused to remit the same to the appropriate places, over a period of more than four months. They have been holding this fund for more than three years! 3/6

Now, that the issue with ASUU has reached a boiling point, I was just informed that they've released ONE MONTH out of more than FOUR MONTHS of funding with them. 4/6

Now, the questions: Why in bits and pieces? Why does it need a strike to get this fund released? Why now? Please remember, this fund is a legitimate fund of University staff, it was just a trust in FG that FG was asked to "help in transferring" these funds. 5/6

I am very sure they will soon go on air that they have fulfilled one of ASUU's demands: it is a lie! 5/6
