A preprint of our lab’s first work in neuroimmunology and cancer is now online. This was led by Anthony and is in collaboration with Wittrup Lab biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Very excited to share our new publication with Bioelectronics @ MIT of using the magnetothermal approach for remote control on nerve growth now out at Advanced Functional Materials! Bioelectronics @ MIT Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program Tel Aviv University onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad….

Bioeng pick of the week! RosenfeldLab@TAU Bioelectronics @ MIT and team show that nerve growth can be accelerated by magnetothermal activation using nanoparticles, offering a remote and minimally invasive approach for the treatment of nerve injuries @AdvSciNews 👏 bit.ly/3BP2g6J

Ready for our #CRUKBrain22 session #2? X no more🇪🇺, tabet, Yoon Seok Kim & @swalkersamuel will discuss how novel tools and technologies from the field of neuroscience could be used to probe the nervous system & its contributions to #braintumour development. #btsm

Our lab’s first NHP study using flexible fiber neurotechnology is now online. In collaboration with Earl K. Miller, Indie Garwood investigated local inhibition of the premotor cortex and putamen during cognitive behavior. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I’m presenting at SfN! There will be two chances to catch me at my poster: Saturday Nov 12 6:30-8:30 at the Trainee Professional Development Awards Session Wednesday Nov 16 1-5p, Poster 736.22 Can’t wait to catch up! 🧠 #SfN2022 Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Bioelectronics @ MIT Earl K. Miller

Prof. Polina Anikeeva will be giving a Special Lecture at #SfN22 Society for Neuroscience (SfN) today, Wednesday Nov 16, at 10:30–11:30 a.m. PST From Atoms to Behavior: Creating Tools To Probe Neurobiological Complexity See you there!

Congratulations to our very own Dr. Anthony Tabet! Anthony was the first PhD student in our lab to work on cancer and neuroimmunology. He was co-advised by Wittrup Lab and brought together two platforms (bioelectronics and engineered proteins) to study brain cancers 🧠

Huge congrats to Dr. Anthony Tabet on a phenomenal PhD defense today. Anthony was co-advised by the Bioelectronics @ MIT and leveraged the unique skill sets of both labs to push the boundaries of cancer neuroimmunology. Excited to see what you accomplish next!

I am beyond excited to be starting my lab (chenlab-ucsf.org) UC San Francisco in the Department of Neurological Surgery UCSF Neurosurgery in March! We will be developing tools to study brain-body physiology and to explore treatment concepts for circuit disorders.

We had such a blast collaborating to make new tools to wirelessly control and record from gut and brain. Check out the paper in Nature Biotechnology: nature.com/articles/s4158… Atharva Sahasrabudhe Sirma Orguc Bioelectronics @ MIT The Bohórquez Lab
