It sickens me how many restaurants insist on staying open despite terrible road conditions. I've seen the cars of restaurant workers. It ain't it.

Corporate chains really have you be doing shit for no good reason Side work checklists, calling people guests instead of customers, etc. I'm super casual with all the people I serve and it is way more rewarding.

People be like "Sex work isn't real work. I would never sell my body" then proceed to sell their body, mind, and time for 40 hours a week, are satisfied with 3% annual raises, and are a verbal punching bag for customers.

The one thing I can never forgive when going to a restaurant/bar as a customer is seeing my server/bartender scoop ice using the glass or cup. It's a no from me. Every time.

Stop ordering frozen drinks.

The fact that many companies require cover letters for applications is a dumb waste of time. Like you want your applicant to send a template letter describing generically how they want to work for you that they also sent to 100 other companies?

I miss being able to work a double, go out until 3am, and work brunch the following day. I am WEAK

Do y'all understand how rude it is to call in somewhere for takeout and ask the person to list all of the sides, sauces, what comes on everything, what menu items they have, etc? Look at the menu online and have your shit prepared before you call.
