Woke up to a lovely gift from HBO / WBD. I’m proud of my written work covering Succession. Some of my best work, in my opinion. Feels nice to be recognized for it!

If more people tune in Wed, then yes. If ticket sales increase in upcoming markets, great. If they get a TV deal done & become profitable, then this worked. But if those things don’t happen, AEW has decisions to make on how to become profitable, so they don’t become WCW 2.0.

The question is who does AEW want to market to. My biggest criticism is that AEW has an identity crisis of sorts. Sometimes they want to be the world’s biggest indie & other times they want to be a part of WBD’s corporate synergy. They would be best suited leaning into one lane &

I’m going to narrow the scope of things I tweet about. I’m going to limit myself to: Twin Peaks / Lynch Horror Paranormal TV No more selfies, wrestling, personal life etc. It’s not what people want from me here - which is fine. Might create a wrestling alt account later.

1. Halloween 2. Scream 3. Freddy vs Jason 4. The Conjuring I know that I’m in the minority but the first Conjuring film just didn’t do it for me. The sequel however, is tremendous & genuinely scary.

I would argue that FWWM answered a lot. It just wasn’t the questions the series left us asking. Lynch pulled back & give us a big picture view of the mythology the show introduced us to, as well as taking a definitive stand on the signature “Who Killed Laura Palmer” question.

In this article, I look at how the sixth film in the Friday the 13th franchise makes some big series retcons, but it’s ultimately for the best. Let me know what you think! Friday The 13th: The Franchise 🪓 Friday The 13th #FridayThe13th horrorobsessive.com/2022/10/31/how…
