The CDC just rewrote its vaccine and autism page to claim that saying "vaccines do not cause autism" is not evidence-based. This is false. The evidence is overwhelming & consistent. 🧵 cdc.gov/vaccine-safety…

I'd argue this has happened with the trivialization of Covid. People just don't believe Covid is dangerous. They and the media prefer a different "story", fueled by actors on the Internet. The virus itself however is curiously resistant to influencer-led moral-epistemic systems.

Marc Johnson Chronic viral infections are not innocuous. There is much evidence suggesting persistent viral reservoirs are much more common than recognized & that they cause some proportion of Long Covid. We need to take them seriously—including Cryptics.

What on earth is going on. Seriously. Where are the doctors raising the awareness about this? Where are the journalists screaming? What is wrong with everyone? Hospital episodes for babies with heart valve problems in England.

There's absolutely zero doubt in my mind that things have changed. But *how*? I've been sharing a lot of these graphs over the last month, but each chart looks at the *small* picture. I have a big picture brain. So here's a thread about the *big* picture.

It's a mystery. Certainly couldn't be that virus that's been proven in hundreds of studies to cause brain damage. No, it must be the cell phones and social media. Everyone knows they didn't exist before 2020.
