First day of school today! 👩🏻‍🏫 5th grade teachers Ardmore School were so excited and had a great day with the kiddos!

The students needed a refresher on our PBIS expectations. Even though it had been a year since some of them entered the building, they still knew exactly what to do. So proud!

We made it through the first week! We learned the different parts of our SS book with a scavenger hunt and then worked on a paper chain STEM challenge! So much fun this week! #asd4all #proud4ardmore

More chain making! We measured our chains to see which was the longest. The kids did such a good job working together. Some had no idea where to start and by the end they had an awesome chain!!

I have fallen so behind with my tweets about my awesome class 😧 Here are some fun things we have done in the past few weeks. We drew our shadows to see how they change throughout the day and D.A.R.E.! We missed all this fun stuff this past year! #asd4all #proud4ardmore

I 💜 to read aloud to my class every year! We finish one book, on to the next! I love it when I hear, “Noooooo” when I tell them we have to stop for the day. 📖 👩🏻‍🏫

Have you heard about the Lost Colony of Roanoke? Students read and brainstormed theories today about what they think could have happened to the over 100 people that disappeared. 🧐🕵🏻‍♀️ #proud4ardmore

Wow, we have been busy! So busy that I have fallen behind on my updates! Let’s start with our Chicago Bears Mini Monsters! The kids had such an amazing time and were so exhausted after all the activity! Thank you for the great experience!

Next, the kids worked hard the whole month of October on their first book reports 📚. They all did such an amazing job! Had to get up in front of the class to present and everything’ so proud of them! I still need to play the homemade Lotería game! @proud4ardmore

Finally, we got to let loose and have some fun at our Halloween parade, party, and Monster Bash! 🎃 🦖 👽 🐮 @proud4ardmore

This week we worked on our Student Led Conference books in Book Creator from Kami and had a veteran cousin from Mrs. Pozen’s family come to talk to us on Zoom! Thank you @JennyPozen5 for inviting us and Mrs. Jaskiewicz for your help with our books! #asd4all
