🎙️On May 20, RFE/RL journalist Ihar Losik turns 33 -- his fifth birthday in captivity in Belarus. Losik was arrested in 2020 for his journalism. He was later sentenced to 15 years in prison for "organizing mass riots, taking part in mass disorder, and inciting social hatred."

Azerbaijan is ruining a man’s life for no good reason. An economist (!) & Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty journalist is unjustifiably imprisoned. It’s been a year now. This family must be reunited. Journalism is not a crime and the last time I checked, economists didn’t pose threats to anyone.
