do yourself a favor and watch an Irrfan Khan movie tonight, even if its Jurassic World. the man was a master, an icon, and proof that an older generation of South Asians could succeed in Hollywood without trafficking in awful, racist sterotypes
Nadiya’s Time To Eat on netflix is nice relaxing tv and also inadvertently super useful for quarantine times because her recipes prioritize simplicity, “shortcut” ingredients, and time efficiency!!!!! This is my wholesome recommendation for the day
It’s taking everything I’ve got to not torch friendships over messages like this Amid These Unprecedented Circumstances

anyway thinking these thoughts again as we all collectively barrel headfirst into this reopening thing, really just crawling all over each other like the 17 year cicadas. I get that people want to feel normal, feel together, recreate tangible space. but man, I’m anxious about it.
yeah so. gonna print this out the next time I need to explain to my grandpa’s white doctor how we know he’s cognitively 💯 based on how exacting he still is with his dinner music
