It was pleasure to see our partners, including Oybek Shaykhov, yesterday at the EUROUZ European evening. I reflected on journey of The EBRD growth in Uzbekistan since re-engagement. From annual investment of €69 mn in 2017, to almost €1 bn last year! We're ready to do more!

I'm pleased to announce that Andi Aranitasi was appointed as new Head of The EBRD in #Uzbekistan. He brings over 25 yrs of experience in manufacturing, telecoms, agribusiness, real estate, tourism & energy sectors.

Proud of achieving 3.4bn investments signing almost 120 projects in Uzb over the last 6 yrs, I hand over the reins to Andi and wish him great success and new heights.
