My project is an open-access, critical heritage study of the medieval Islamic ceramics of Balis, Syria (750-1260). It will publish six interpretive chapters reflecting a decade of collaborative work with our Syrian colleagues and a catalog of over 1,000 drawings and photographs.

I'm honored to be invited to give the @RiceHumanities fifth annual Kazimi Lecture in Shi’i Studies on February 15. It will be both in-person and online, so you're welcome to join even if you can't make it to Houston. Would love to see you there! news.rice.edu/news/2024/art-…
