Celebrating 10 years of Advanced Paramedic Practice (Critical Care) in London Ambulance Service. It doesn’t seem possible that it’s ‘only’ 10 years for the team and 9 years since I became an APP. The collective experience, intellect and commitment in that room last night was so humbling.

Yesterday I stood in front postgraduate students on the Critical Care MSc University of Hertfordshire At least 50% of the class were women yet I still see women underrepresented in Critical Care roles. Women: know you belong at the table, we’ve just got to make the system realise that you fit.

Our Advanced Paramedics in #CriticalCare have been saving lives in London for 10 years now. They are pushing the boundaries for what paramedics can do on the roadside and in people’s homes. Nick explains more about this specialist role ⬇️
