A1) If it was meant as term of endearment, then I have no issue with a teacher calling a student by that name. As long the students are treated lovingly and respectfully that is what is important. #HCISDReads

A2) It is important to not inform students how easy or difficult a task may be but what does need to be said is that if they finish early there are additional tasks they can do or if they are having a difficult time which resources and students are available to help. #HCISDReads

A3) Threats which seem funny can be perceived literally by students which will affect their attitudes and that can negatively impact them at school. #HCISDReads

A4) “Munchkin” stood out to me because it is derogatory and a positive label should be used instead. #HCISDReads
