Walked past this bush today .. a scent of lilac was in the air. Fragile yet gorgeous blossoms will grace the landscape for a short time. Gradually learning the nearby trail system.. my new ‘go to’. Lots of hiking within an hour or so .. finally ready to drive further out & see ..

The All Trails app is good to have on hand. This hike was at the Grenelle Rec Ctr near Spicewood, TX. The trail wasn’t well marked and I veered off a few times. Re-found the path via the app. However, it was through a wooded area the entire time. A plus! Moderate in difficulty.

This.Squeaky.Windmill.Thing. is gone; alongwith several other lawn ornaments. Hallelujah! It was attached to the ground by foot long pieces of rebar. Took me 30 mins. to dig it out. Just trees & grass now. Female owned junk biz is hauling it & more junk to the dump. I am free.
