After segregating my chickens for 4 weeks due to bullying and feather pecking...within 2 minutes of letting them mix today, they were back pulling and eating feathers again 😠😠😠

Decided to let the chickens out in the sunshine to start digging in the green manure in the veg beds. Roll on spring 👨‍🌾

Home from holiday to this beauty...I thought it was a cabbage. Pigeons have stripped the leaves, but it's one of my biggest cauliflowers ever

Today was a lawn day! 2 cu metres of thatch removed, 3 cuts. And now it's getting a good rain on. A couple of bald patches to re seed tomorrow.

I am just inundated with #slugs and #snails this year - never known anything like it. Lost all my corriander, lemon basil and lettuce overnight. Clearly they have good taste...but enough now please!

Well, usually I can spot a good evening in the compost bin when it smells of lemons and limes...this year, I've made a particularly good batch of mulled wind and the compost heap smells divine! 🤣

Morning all, as we hit the Autumn equinox, the garden is looking fab. Harvesting tomatoes, aubergines, spinach, salad, beans, herbs and beetroot still. Just finished the last of the sweetcorn. Almost ready for leeks, and then the Autumn sowings of beans, onions and garlic soon😋
