Do you like hardware? Do you like Goa? If your answer is yes for both we are hosting our annual Makerville Conf on 13 & 14th September Maker's Asylum in Moira! Read about our previous conferences here - blog.makerville.io/tag/conference/

40 years of FPGA this year, and it’s still amazing about how creatively xilnix founders came up with a solution of packing up every logical expression into look up table which can be reconfigured millions of times and the interconnect which routes to any path the way you want.

I’m keeping the audio as it is because it captures the genuine happiness of four students, Avinash, Vihag, Vedant, and Bhoovaneiu. flying their first drone using our Axon edge computer. These kind of students are the fuel that will skyrocket the nation someday. Bravo!

Calling all hardware enthusiasts across India! We often talk about building hardware and its ecosystem, but it truly takes a community of passionate makers to make it happen. The ones who naturally love creating and have a drive for building cool stuff. Check out this conf.

To build something great, you’ll have to create partnerships that lasts. Think something, create something and let’s build together.

This is an appreciation post for Prof. Ashok (IIT Madras). He has always been very supportive of daring entrepreneurs in our country. At over 70 years old, he still works tirelessly, 24/7, to help anyone who needs his support at any level.

After launching Axon from @Vicharak, we’ve been receiving continuous requests for a $50–60 (₹5–7K) SBC from users. We’re working on it, and I’d like to ask here: what do you expect from it? What features would you like us to include?

Akshar Vastarpara (@aksharvastarpar) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Yes, credit goes to both of you, and to Praveen, Devang, Rishik, Deepak, and Tejas from the Vicharak team. Even on the very first attempt, all of you designed it like true masters.

I think the Indian government should remove the 18% GST on all kinds of electronics development kits. The people purchasing these kits are researchers, students, and engineers, and they have to bear an unnecessary extra cost compared to other countries.

₹349 is all you need to start understanding the basics of the computing world and the semiconductor industry. Trust me, once you get into an FPGA, you’ll love what you can do with it.

Imagine an uncle gifting you FPGA kit so you can learn, that’s the kind of culture we need to foster innovation. Children should be playing around with the core fields of engineering. We launched this with a dream that kids could experiment with FPGAs. This is a first step.

You’re running a program on the Arduino IDE, and at the same time, you’ll be able to program the FPGA multiple times with different bitstreams for specific workloads Idea 101.

This book was written in 1967, probably even before personal computers emerged. The quest to make machines think had already begun back then. Whether driven by curiosity or by a desire to improve humanity, we seem destined to create machines that can think entirely on their own

have been using Mappls for a long time and genuinely admire what they’ve built. Rohan Verma, we have many single-board computers and mini PCs coming next year. If we can collaborate on bringing the Mappls app to Linux, we’d love to ship it by default with the OS on our computers
