Thank you, ACK maintenance staff, Victor Brandon Corp, Robert B Our, PJ Keating, and MJI Inc for responding and performing an emergency centerline repair overnight. We were open by 0900 with all repairs completed!

🚨 PSA from the Nantucket Airport 🛬 The main runway (6-24) at the airport will be closed on 8/5 from 7 PM - 5 AM for the painting of runway markings; required to maintain compliance with FAA Pt. 139. Expect increased air traffic over town. Painting should not cause disturbances.

Night closures, Nobadeer Farm Rd Inquirer and Mirror Nantucket Current Town of Nantucket

At approximately 2145 (local) a vehicle left Monohansett Rd, collided with a security fence, and came to rest in a vacant aircraft tie down area. ACK ARFF, NPD and NFD responded and secured the scene. There was no fire or damage to aircraft. ACK remains open and operational.
