Well I haven’t updated this page for sometime as I’ve taken sometime away from the police as I left my role as a PCSO in November 22 but 2024 I’ll be back as a special Constable so I will be updating this page as to what I get upto in my new role with old and new colleagues 👮‍♂️

Well I am happy to say I have received my confirmed offer yesterday and now a step further to becoming a Special Constable with Greater Manchester Police GMP Special Constabulary. I left GMP in 2022 after 2 years as a PCSO but I am back again doing something I love. Roll on 23rd March 👮‍♂️🚔👮‍♂️🚔

Day 1 of MIMMS training complete. Day 2 rocking and rolling with the final day today. What an intense but interesting knowledgeable course it has been to be on so far with lots learnt already and more to learn for the last day today. #mimms 🚑🚨🚓🚨🚒

Well 2 days are done and dusted and I can say I have successfully passed the MIMMS (Major Incident Management) commander course. It has definitely changed my viewpoints when attending incidents from every view point being first on scene to a job or from other aspects.

Well today I’ve received my confirmed official offer to start as a Special Constable with Greater Manchester Police & GMP Special Constabulary. Looking forward to starting training on 18th March Back to my old force and what’s even better I’m back to my old station where I was based as a PCSO. 🚓👮‍♂️🚓👮‍♂️

Today was the final thing I needed to do in the pre employment stage of becoming a SC which was my uniform fitting. Roll on 18th March for my welcome evening and first day of training being 23rd March. Can’t wait to be back in GMP doing something I loved. 🚓🚨 GMP Special Constabulary

Day 1 of my specials training at Sedgley Park done and dusted. On for day 2 today GMP Special Constabulary

Law day 1 done and dusted from this weekend of SC Training. Some great learning and new knowledge learnt this weekend. Just one day of training to come this weekend which is the start of my birthday weekend as well.

Law Day 2 done and dusted this weekend just gone. There’s lots of information to be taken in and still lots to be learnt over the rest of the course. All very new and different information to what I knew as a PCSO but it’s a great learning development.

Well I haven’t updated here for some time. But… with 3 training days left which is 2 first aid days and 1 scenario day, time has really flown and I’ve learnt a lot. I cannot wait to attest and get back out onto the streets of Greater Manchester. Roll on 22nd July when I attest.

Well there we have it.. I’ve now officially attested as a Special Constable with Greater Manchester Police and look forward to getting back out on the streets of Manchester. Look forward to my first shift and being proactive again working with various teams. 🚓🚨

My first shift as a special done last night. Supported response with 3 grade 1’s and then did some ASB hotspot areas for a few hours, was a great first shift and was good to catch up with colleague again. Let’s see what I get up to tomorrow with A relief on response. GMP Special Constabulary
