Sibanye Stillwater's Cooke operations, near Randfontein is about 35 km southwest of Johannesburg. As of December 31, 2023, its mine life extends to 2027. The operation includes the Randfontein Surface Operation, which re-treats historic tailings through the Cooke Gold Plant.
