A small gasp left the black haired ‘girl’ in response to feeling those fangs pierce their neck. After the woman finished that bite, Jun looked at her confused. “W-What did you just do?....”

“D-Drain people?!” Hearing this the feminine human eyes grew full of fear and panic. What was going to happen to them? I-I don’t have anywhere to go... A-At this point I live by camping alone anyways...”

“N-Not good enough...” The feminine boy panted heavily as he spoke, clearly out of breath. He tightly gripped his sword and proceeded to swing it against a makeshift dummy. It seems Jun was practicing his swordsmanship. Although by the look of it, he wasn’t making much progress.

“A-A vampire?! Y-You didn’t!...” Jun immediately brought a hand up to his neck to the spot where he had been bitten. His eyes full of shock and fear. “W-Why would... I-Instead of killing me...”

Before he could respond, he felt that kick and his world go dark. It would take a good hour or two before the ‘girl’ would regain consciousness. Their eyes slowly blinked before they shot up and looked around. A confused yet scared look on their face. “W-What... Where did...”

Jun took a seat on the ground. He was sat alone in the middle of the forest, camping out for the night before continuing his current quest in the morning. Although being all by himself out in the forest was a bit nerve wracking. After all, who knows what might be out there?
