Today, I joined the Mpumalanga provincial legislature in observing the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide, standing in solidarity with survivors and calling for urgent action to end the crisis.

Today, we handed over a memorandum to the Premier’s Office after years of unanswered calls for a proper road to the cemetery and completion of the long-funded water reservoir. Received by DDG Mrs. Nonhle Mashini Nkosi, we now wait for a response within seven working days.

Today, I joined the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature for the Parliament for People with Disabilities, highlighting the urgent need for inclusive policy-making, equal access to opportunities, and improved support systems for persons with disabilities.

On the 16th of December, ActionSA in Bushbuckridge will be having a branch launch in ward 37, braai, and year-end function to close off what has been a challenging but successful year 💚

Today, ActionSA engaged the Manala Makerana Traditional Council in Ward 18 to address rising bullying and gangsterism in Thembisile schools. A multi-stakeholder public meeting will be held before schools reopen in 2026. ActionSA remains committed to safer schools in Thembisile.

This morning, ActionSA Mpumalanga Fieldworker, Harry Mazibuko conducted an oversight visit this morning at Vosmac Farm following allegations of employing undocumented foreign nationals. Management cooperated fully and provided proof of compliance from the Department of Labour.

Today we successfully tabled a Motion Without Notice to end the compulsory PARMED Medical Aid Scheme, and the Mpumalanga Legislature has adopted it. We will now push for this motion to be debated in the upcoming sittings as we continue championing fairness and accountability 💚
