A roleplayer's search history is a weird place, friends. I just started searching "How long..." and it auto-populated, "How long does it take rigor mortis to set in?" Don't judge me.

Monday Morning Revelation: The fun you have playing TTRPGs is directly related to your level of commitment to having fun and the people with which you play. One step above irrelevant is the quality of the rules of the game you are playing. Simply put, it's not about the rules.

I'm going to GenCon! And I'm doing a Panel on the Digital Future of Gaming. If you're going to GenCon, I'd love to meet up. Here's a link to my calendar so we can get something on the books. calendly.com/acsearles/gencโ€ฆ

Well... I made a thing for Mรถrk Borg. It's called the Curses of Josilfa. Just some additional rules that add curses and cures into the base game. Anyway, check it out. acsearles.itch.io/the-curses-of-โ€ฆ

Do all TTRPGs need to be fun? A roleplaying game is, at its heart, just a story. I tend to compare them to other stories told in different formats. If I ask this question about TV shows and movies, I find myself answering no more often then yes. And I think thatโ€™s a good thing.

We just released the new Roll20 Characters product that takes characters out of the VTT and allows you to create and use them without having to go into the VTT. It's a really big step. I wrote this blog post about why I think it's important. blog.roll20.net/posts/meet-rolโ€ฆ

Just going to put this here. I will imply nothing from it. youtube.com/watch?v=E9vFyPโ€ฆ Also, We just released the new Roll20 Characters product. Again two things that I'm saying and their inclusion in the same tweet does not mean I'm implying anything. Good show, SlyFlourish.com

I hate it when people at the airport decide to max volume and set their phone up like an entertainment system for everyone around them to hear. Iโ€™ve decided to lean in. Iโ€™m just going to pull up a chair beside them. โ€œOooooh I love this show!โ€ #killngwithkindness
