Highlights from today’s ACSCAN Massachusetts #ResearchBreakfast - we are thrilled to be a sponsor of this year’s event. We look forward to future advocacy with the ACS and helping spread the word about the importance of biomedical science, cancer research, biomarker testing, and more!

We're kicked off today with our biomarkers panel this morning! First speaker is State Senator Susan Moran, our incredible Senate sponsor of the bill. Thanks for your advocacy to expand access to #biomarkertesting in MA.

Next up is our amazing House Sponsor Meg Kilcoyne of the bill to expand access to #biomarkertesting in MA. Thank you for all of your advocacy on behalf of cancer patients!

A busy day at the State House, but I’ll always make time for my friends at ACSCAN Massachusetts. Meg Kilcoyne and countless advocates have put in the work to push for access to #biomarker testing with S.689! The need exists. The technology exists. The only gap that exists is coverage.

Yesterday, alongside Alzheimers Association, MA/NH Chapter, we visited over 200 offices to urge our legislators to pass An Act relative to patient access to biomarker testing. We are excited about the potential to get this bill over the finish line! #biomarkertesting

Attending today's #AdvocacyDay hosted by American College of Surgeons highlighting the importance of access to breast cancer screening and H.4918. ACSCAN Massachusetts is proud to support this bill that will remove out-of-pocket costs for follow-up breast screenings. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

We're excited that bill S.2971, which requires that health plans regulated by the Commonwealth cover medically necessary screening and diagnostic breast imaging with no out-of-pocket costs, is on Gov. Maura Healey's desk. More info about our support here: fightcancer.org/releases/bill-…
