Class One have been super busy learning about remembrance day this week. We made collaged poppies using little pieces of cut up orange, pink and red paper. We decided to string them up so we could hang them on the gate for everyone to see. I think they look fab, well done!

Last week Class One continued to study Paul Klee's work. This time we had a template to give us a helping hand but we had to try really hard to stay in the lines. We noticed that his painting had much lighter colours so we figured out we needed to add white. #art #ks1 #acombfirst

Congratulations to the children who achieved 'Star Writer of the Week'. They were chosen as they have worked especially hard to improve an aspect of their writing. We look forward to more amazing writing next week for #nationalstorytellingweek ✍️📚
