End of term exams today. Potential ASB in Acocks Green. Dispersal order in place. With our presence today we seized fireworks and prevented offences, great to be out speaking to the local community and wishing all the kids finishing their exams the best of luck for the future!

Today PC Monaghan and PCSO Bannister have had a very eventful shift starting it off with a morning with a career day and Q&A at Darul Uloom thank you for having us, it was our pleasure 👍👌👨‍🏫

Then PC Monaghan and PCSO Bannister was interacting with locally known homeless people we managed to point some in the right direction of how to get help, we found out one of them was an Army vet and was struggling with PTSD, hopefully they found our advice and referral useful

To end the day a report came in that a stolen car had been seen driving around the Acocks Green area after some great local knowledge from PC Monaghan we were able to find it parked up engine still hot, the owner is relieved and I have a feeling the culprits have a shock coming👀

A great end to the week, which saw us attend Darul Uloom with Acocks Green Police to talk all things policing. This Madrasa has exemplified the role faith plays in keeping communities safe. A big thanks goes to our member DS Ali, who played a key role in event.

Officers came across a group of youth smoking cannabis in a parked car, after all were searched along with the car, an offensive weapon was found and drugs were also found so an arrest was made and custody is expecting an over nighter #ProactivePolicing #Lasagna4one #saynotodrugs
