A week ago today Jim led us off the 1st tee Aberfoyle Golf Club for A Day with Jim Hartsell in association with The Links Diary - what a day we had. Great idea - great event. Thanks folks. Was a real privilege to listen to Jim talk about his love for 🏴 and Scottish Golf!

I also need to mention William Paterson & Aberfoyle Golf Club. There are so many others that made this trip one of the best ever. I’ll get to everyone in time 🙏🏻

Some lovely colours on the course Aberfoyle Golf Club this morning. And a very rare brace of birdies at the 4th. That won’t happen again this season for sure.

Anyone for some more Aberfoyle Golf Club in full bloom pics? 🙋♂️ Glorious in the Sunday Sun this morning.

If you want to find out a wee bit more about Aberfoyle Golf Club then read Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost by Jim Hartsell in edition 11 of The Links Diary - it’s sure to capture your imagination and hopefully fuel your desire to wander our way.

After an epic 🏴golf trip I went wandering on the way home to Aberfoyle Golf Club. Thanks to Jim Hartsell for sharing it in his The Links Diary article, and especially to William Paterson for being a great host. Those who love the fun, quirky, scenic Golf on Arran should add it to their list

Hole 4 - Alma (Maters 😃) is our signature hole Aberfoyle Golf Club. Only 256 yds from the whites, but it can wreck a card. A good drive this morning left 60 yds steeply uphill and pin just on (on and a 2 putt par) makes it look an easy 4. It’s not. Come and give this quirky hole a try.

Nice touch this morning Aberfoyle Golf Club for the Alistair Johnston Salver charity medal in memory of Alistair and in aid of MND 🏴. Gone but not forgotten.

Nice review from Gregg Dewalt of his visit to Aberfoyle Golf Club. Thanks Gregg. Yes, the par 3’s are a good test. Jim Hartsell will be glad to know you love the 10th. Oh, and it’s so easy to run up a 6 (or worse) at the 256 yard 4th. alabamagolfnews.com/aberfoyle-golf…

Had the pleasure of meeting Sean Aberfoyle Golf Club yday. The Pinehurst resident was out for a bit of speedgolf - running between shots as he made his way around. Jeez, as if the course isn’t enough of a challenge. Was great to see he was having so much fun - so here’s his Instagram 🙏

A hole-in-one at the 10th Aberfoyle Golf Club for me today 😃 That makes the full collection of par 3’s on the back 9 for me now. Ahem, does it matter that today’s shot was a poor strike a bit up the ball? 😂 Posed for pic of me holding flag. No sign of pic on phone! Deliberate? 🤔😂
