🏉 D&G Regional Rugby Finals 🏉 Our U16 Boys rugby team travelled to Dumfries to take part in the regional rugby finals. The boys did brilliantly, winning 3 games & losing 1, but unfortunately didn’t make it through to the final today. All playing did the school very proud 💛🖤

A few weeks ago, our senior netball team won both of their matches against Kirkcudbright Academy. Congratulations to Ava Vickers, S4 & Brooke Rogerson, S6 for being players of the match. The team worked well together and they should be very proud of themselves! Well done girls!

On Wednesday, our Senior Netball team played at home against Douglas Ewart. It was a tightly fought match but despite the girls incredibly hard work, they lost by just 2 goals. Congratulations to Lyvie Bryson who was nominated player of the match, and well done to both teams!

Sporting Success 🏃‍♀️ Last week, our junior netball teams competed in league matches against Douglas Ewart high school. There was lots of great netball on display over both afternoons and all girls involved showed respect throughout the matches. Results will follow in next post➡️

S1/2 Rugby 🏉 On Wednesday, our S1/2 boys took part in a rugby session led by coaches from Annan Rugby. These sessions are offered on a two weekly cycle-this week for boys, next week for girls. If your child is interested in taking part, please speak with Mr Brown in the PE Dept

Mr Boardman’s Running Club 🏃🏼🏃🏽‍♀️ Our running club took a trip to the coast tonight and enjoyed a steady run around the back o' the hill in preparation for tomorrow's school cross country races. Well done everyone, and good luck for tomorrow!

Sporting success 🏃‍♀️ Our junior netball teams made the long trip to play their league matches against Stranraer Academy at the beginning of the week. The girls played amazing and had a successful afternoon winning all four matches!! Results to follow in the next post ➡️

Netball Success 🏃‍♀️ Today our senior netball team travelled through to Stranraer Academy to play their final fixtures of the season. Annan were successful in both games, beating Stranraer A team 40-19 and Stranraer B team 53-1. Fantastic performances from all involved! 🏐👏🏻

SFA/SPAR D&G Girls Football Tournament 🏃🏽‍♀️⚽️ Congratulations to our S1/2 team who came first overall today and qualified for the next round of the cup! Our S3/4 team made it to the qualifying play off but unfortunately got beat on penalties. All girls played incredibly well!💛🖤

Netball Success🏃‍♀️ Both our junior netball teams performed amazingly last week at our away fixture against Dumfries High School. Results: Annan A 40-0 DHS A Annan B 23-0 DHS B Annan A 50-0 DHS B Annan B 14-9 DHS B Well done all - the regional finals await for us next month🖤💛

P4/5 TOUCH RUGBY FESTIVAL 🏉 Our Sports Leaders class planned and led a fun morning of rugby, with 150 children in P4/5 taking part from the Annan cluster. A big thanks Nicole Barlow Annan Rugby and Sandra Proudfoot for helping to get our sports leaders prepared for the event!💛

U14 D&G Schools Rugby Regional Championships 🏉🏆 A huge congratulations to our U14 rugby team who won the D&G rugby regional championships! On the day, the boys managed to top their group by winning all games & then went on to beat CD in the final! Well done to all involved💛🖤
