These videos seem to be having a second run of popularity. So worth resharing, as pertinent to many UK estuaries as well, like #TheWash where we see many #waders being disturbed by walkers & dogs. These birds have to work hard to find food just to survive in winter!

Intertidal habitats are often well-used by waders outside the breeding season, but some species also make use of other adjacent habitats during this period, including agricultural fields.

Wasn't expecting to find my first Breckland curlew chicks of the season today. They're roughly 10-days-old meaning that the adults began laying during the third week of March!!!!

Down to our last few nests, exclusion fences are coming down and our fieldwork teams are well into the tricky business of chick monitoring! Our Curlew Solutions Trial teams have monitored 145 nests across 5 English landscapes this season! Well done All!
