Yesterday we had a visit from LIBES (Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering Studies) who are on a benchmarking mission to become A TEVETA Centre of Excellence like KGRTC.. We enjoyed exchanging notes and networking with our colleagues. #weknowenergy

KGRTC is a Subsidiary of SADC, and hosted by Zambia.This week our director , Head Training and Research, Board Chair, and SESA national coordinator, are in Botswana at the SADC head office to hold a number of meetings on key areas of development and support. #weknowenergy

Last Week, together with ILO Lusaka, We had a fruitful meeting with the Dean of the School of Engineering at New Era College based in Gaborone, Botswana. We Discussed areas of collaboration in skills in renewable energy and energy efficiency including research #weknowenergy

Wrapping up the Botswana mission, a team from KGRTC and Ilo Lusaka met the Botswana Ministry of Energy. An array of issues where discussed around Biomass and other RE, and a follow-up meeting with Botswana International University of Science and Technology. #weknowenergy

Yesterday we recieved CEO's from Chenzhou Dongtang Electrical Equipment Co. And Hengsheng Power, who where on an exploratory mission in Zambia and identified KGRTC as a key potential partner. Items discussed where key development areas for both parties. #weknowenergy

Today we graduated the courses Distribution Line Design and Construction(DLDC) and Grid Intergration for Renewable Energy Sources (GIRES). We look forward to see the impact the trainings have had on the participants. #weknowenergy
