Exactly. The worst thing is with Rice at 6, you would’ve thought Arteta would be more willing to play two #10s like ESR and Ødegaard in certain games. But instead he doubled down defensively and has fully converted him into a full time #8.

Arteta doesn’t really miss on buying defenders tbf. Seems to always address the right positions most of the time and pick the best suitable profiles in that area.

Matthew His talent ID for attackers isn't bad either. The raw talent in them is quite high. Havertz is the only bad talent ID. Even someone like mudryk is extremely talented. Arteta's biggest issue is player profiling.
