A few hours after the launch event, my California student housing bill was killed by an unelected Committee Consultant who called it a “developer giveaway”

She purposely withheld her proposed amendments to the bill until the last possible minute to make negotiations impossible.…

Asking debate organizers to guarantee an equal number of supporters for each candidate is totally absurd. The point of a debate is to convince the audience that you are the right candidate, not the other way around.

Our coalition’s push to expand the citywide rezoning with strong city planning principles — ex. apartments in wealthy neighborhoods near transit, parks, and college campuses — has sent almost 9,500 letters! 😱

This is like exhibit no. 1 billion in the case of social justice language being co-opted by wealthy San Francisco homeowners. 'Respect our culture' but for people who own $30k+ private conveyance machines.

This announcement is huge. Details are TBD, but scaling up the western neighborhoods rezoning has the potential to promote fair housing in San Francisco on a scale not seen in decades.
