Physician Associates have nothing to do with the current #NHS crisis. They have been around for 20 years and number in the low thousands. NHS England has always been clear that not only are PAs not doctors, they must never replace them, cannot prescribe and must be supervised.
Seattle, where my wife is from, has amongst the world’s most restrictive anti smoking legislation. Since ‘05 smoking with 25 meters of buildings or public parks has been banned. Proposed $30 fines were dropped as public complied. Wes Streeting MP should look to it for best practice:
