This postcard shows the Hillbrow School gymnasium. The boys' preparatory school was founded in 1859, and acted as a feeder to Rugby School. In 1961, the school amalgamated with a Northumberland school and departed its Rugby premises. ๐Ÿ“ธ WCRO, PH0352/152/343 #WarksSportsAndGames

As today is #TeddyBearDay, we couldn't pass up on the chance to celebrate our mascot Chambearlin! He usually lives at reception, but on occasion, he goes out with staff to outreach events. Recently he was at Warwickshire Pride and Packmores Community Centre. #ChambearlinOnTour

This letter was recently found within the correspondence of George Guy, 4th Earl of Warwick. Henry Liddell was the father of Alice, the inspiration for Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. ๐Ÿ“ธ WCRO, CR1886/476/42 #WarwickCastleWednesday #ExploreYourArchive
