It didn't have to be this way. Had Democrats been willing to work with Republicans in MN at any stage along the way, they wouldn't have had to step on as many rakes as they have. But they choose partisanship. As a result, the lowest common denominator of their caucus rules.

Even conservatives have a hard time understanding the current state of the Democrat Party in Minnesota.

Jon Justice asks, '... such a small portion of the DFL [is] pushing all of this... why don't we have other DFLers that are [dissenting]?'

You need to hear the answer.

Democrats did not have a sudden change of heart when, under electoral pressure, they voted to reinstate a religious exemption in state law. They made it very clear, all through the process, that they don't want us to have it.

They know the ERAsure Amendment will erase it.

The ERAsure Amendment will do precisely that. It will erase women, allowing them to be displaced by men in every space and enterprise. It will erase the unborn as a concept under the law. And it will set up a mechanism to erase the businesses and churches of dissidents.

Democrats are playing a cynical game with your religious liberty. Planned DFL changes to the ERAsure Amendment will offer religious protection, then take it away by subordinating it to other concerns.

Religion will become a second class right, which is to say no right at all.

The ERAsure Amendment, based as it is in fantasy, will destroy the jurisprudence of Minnesota. You can't make 'sex' equal to 'gender identity' without destroying the former. One is a biological reality. The other is an imaginary idea. People will sue over ever-shifting nonsense.

Three recent evidences that MN Democrats hate democracy:

🔹Refused to put the new state flag to a vote of residents
🔹Continue to pass loosey-goosey election laws that disenfranchise voters
🔹Shielded Sen. Mitchel from accountability to cling to a few days of power

'This will erase women's rights.'

Women from our House Republican Caucus share warnings about the ERAsure Amendment, which will eliminate women as a category in Minnesota.

We should believe these women, and oppose their ERAsure.

Calling debate an 'abuse of process.'

Second, a signal that they're about to really abuse the process.

Last week, it was widely reported that religious liberty was reinstated by the legislature.

That presumed standard process and the governor's signature.

That process was bizarrely delayed, but the bill is now on his desk.

In a desperate attempt to defend the absurd policy of letting people cast a live ballot with nothing more than a 'description' of where they claim to live, Democrats here evoke homeless veterans in a cynical effort to betray what those vets fought for.

No joke. Under partisan changes to election law shoved through by Democrats, you can 'describe' where you live, not provide a real address, and cast a live ballot.
