Every word here is so true. I love being an Arts Emergency mentor helping to guide young people on their path into the creative industries, often through higher education. Young people deserve opportunities in art, fashion, theatre, music etc. Creative subjects broaden horizons.
Our paper is out 'Re-Membering Music Worlds: Exhibiting the Rebel Women of Manchester’s Suffragette City' It matters because the talented women & volunteers on the project deserve to have their voices heard-Thanks ALL! & Alison MDMArchive #digitalheritage doi.org/10.1080/030077…
Had a great first experience as an assistant reviews editor on this issue, supporting Amin Hashemi (University of Aberdeen Music) and Victor Pires (@ufaloficial) on their thoughtful reviews! Click below for their insights on the latest publications on popular music, migration, and protest.
