So Ohio Sec. of State Frank LaRose lobbied lawmakers to pass a law that violates the Voting Rights Act for people with disabilities. And now that a judge has smacked it down, LaRose's response is to put up more barriers for voters and try to eliminate drop boxes.

This is the key metric of how we’re doing as a state, and it’s abysmal. Few things are as fundamental as the amount of time we each get on earth, and here in Ohio, decades of failed leadership has cost us collectively millions of years off our lifespans. Ohioans deserve better.
