#EdinburghRP together with DVSA and MIB stopped vehicles on the approach to Hermiston Gait Retail Park and inspected them for roadworthiness. Throughout their time there they detected insurance, MOT, insecure load, careless driving and mobile phone offences. #DriveSmart

#EdinburghRP conducted an Operation Close Pass at B800 South Queensferry, resulting in; 10 vehicles stopped, 4 drivers given chat on the mat and 4 speed warnings. Offences detected - 2 vehicle defect tickets, 1 no MOT, 1 speeding, 1 dangerous driving, 1 drink driving

The local community and Police worked together resulting in an off-road bike being seized this afternoon in the Parkgrove area. The driver was charged with numerous Road Traffic offences. Please keep reporting any anti-social behaviour to us. #CommunityPolicing

The Air Support Unit will deploy a drone to South Queensferry to support Police Scotland North West Edinburgh tackle antisocial behaviour relating to improper use of motor vehicles in the Hawes Pier area. The drone will be used to detect and deter any offences and help keep the community safe
