Big day for housing in Brooklyn! Thanks to New York City Council for approving three projects that will bring nearly 300 income-restricted affordable homes to Bed-Stuy and Midwood. This much-needed new housing will help make a dent in our housing shortage.

Tonight, Chi Ossé delivered the keynote address at a fundraiser for The Katmint. This organization provides critical early childhood education services in Bed-Stuy, and ensures our children have the tools to thrive in and continue to build our proud historic neighborhood.

We just presented an official New York City Council citiation to Luna the Dog for being New York's strongest soldier in our war against the rats 🐀. With over 200 confirmed kills, including over 60 this year alone, Luna is holding the front line and making us proud 🫡

We were proud to join the UFT legislative breakfast last week to build partnership and learn about how to best support the teachers of New York. Teachers are responsible for over a million students. We have an ironclad responsibility to support and uplift them and their union.
