Today would have been my husband's 77th birthday. I made his favorite chocolate cake and a pan of pasta, and we'll have a family dinner tomorrow evening in his honor. It's 12 weeks tomorrow since his death. To quote Kaitlyn Bouchillon I'm still here, and God never left.

My father-in-law, Jerry, planted this lilac bush in New South Wales and this row of Red Buds in New York State during the last decade of his life.

Every year they bloom, 10,000 miles and 2 seasons apart, during the same week in May.

Our youngest (in front) & his classmates are at Bond University for the Model UN Program.

Last year he was a journalist, this year he is representing Bangladesh.

It's a wonderful opportunity to make friends whilst developing skills in communication, collaboration & diplomacy.
