Thnx The Globe and Mail for publishing this theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl… The path to better health care doesn’t require further recommendations re how it should be fixed. It requires political leadership. Governing is not theoretical. The job of politicians is to implement actual solutions

Today is the International Day to End Racial Discrimination. To address racial injustice Ontario must extend public health coverage to all regardless of their immigration status. Jose is an undocumented construction worker. This is his story. Share it widely

Denying healthcare to people living or working in Ontario because of their immigration status can be a death sentence.

Please join me tonight for the premiere of 'Attila' at Hot Docs Cinema. I'm honoured to be a panelist for the post-film discussion alongside Naheed Dosani, as 'Attila' captures the systemic barriers people face in accessing — and surviving — social services. povmagazine.com/attila-review-…

There is a lot of data on how horrible it is for medical outcomes to keep inpatients boarded in the ED

I don't see enough discussion of how inhumane it is. EDs are not designed to allow patients to sleep. No one would want a loved one to spend 24 hours in an ED

We need better
