The children have continued to observe the changes in our caterpillars. We have been learning about the electrics in a house and made our own circuits, powering a fan and lightbulb. We even made some houses using tools and wood, following our own blueprints. 🏡

This week in the garden learners continued to care for the plants and helped to plant some more fruit and vegetables. Learners also enjoyed playing bug bingo and looking for bugs in the garden. 🍓🥒🐞🐛

In the Quiet Room learners have continued their interest in The Very Hungry Caterpillar story and have been recreating their own butterfly lifecycles using craft materials which has now led to discussions around healthy and unhealthy food choices 🐛🍓 🍎 🍃🍭 🍊

This week in the Music Room we have been exploring “Jelly On A Plate” in a various of ways. We have also had some musical visitors visiting us, exploring more rhymes, songs and rhythm.

After finding out the fabulous news that we had all been accepted into the buddy programme, we visited the nursery today! ⭐️

We had lots of fun meeting the nursery pupils and are looking forward to our second visit next week Kinnaird Waters ELC Centre!
