Today we celebrated I’s 5th birthday, having an awesome dance party. She requested all her favourite songs including Girl is on Fire and we played the floor is lava and freeze. I showed off all her best moves and sang along to all the tunes.

Today we celebrated I’s 4th birthday by having a dance party. I’ showed off all her best dance moves when playing musical statues and made a special request for her favourite song Wind the Bobbin up, singing along and doing all the actions with her friends. Happy 4th Birthday !

In the garden, learners have continued to water the plants and watch them as they begin to grow 🌱💦. We have developed our fine motor skills while creating bird feeders taking our time to thread cheerios and dried fruit 🐦 … Learners also explored science experiments 🥼.

In the big room we have continued to explore our numeracy area made our own models in the woodwork and enjoyed Easter experiences with play dough and threading. #happyeaster#woodworkrocks!

Humpty Dumpty has been the chosen rhyme in the music room. Learners have enjoyed using the drum to beat the rhythm and sing the rhyme. We done an experiment to see if we could make a real egg like rubber and then we bounced it from different heights until it popped!

Today L celebrated his 4th birthday, making delicious play dough lollipops and having car races with his friends using the remote control cars.

The children have had a great time in snack this week. We have made Easter biscuits and enjoyed a yummy chocolate treat at the end of the week🐰🍫😋

In the Quiet/Sensory room we have been continuing our interest with the story Snow White🍎.We have been creating storybooks, comics and acting out the scenes from the story. We have also been enjoying some head massages and hand relaxation sessions that have made us feel calm.

In the Atelier the children looked at Cherry Blossom Trees. We walked around Kinnaird, finding trees that had bloomed, painting our own. We got creative making Cherry Blossom Trees using beads, sticks, collage materials, paints and play dough. We also made some hand sewn crafts!
