Hi #VAESPChat my name is Kim and I'm a principal! I went the gym for a Saturday morning workout and spent time shopping with my mom!

A1: Kindergarten Jump Start is the most recent one that comes to mind. We get to meet our future students, their families, and engage before we register them! It was great because families could network with one another and our amazing faculty.#VAESPChat

A2: I need to be more mindful of this. We start strong with sitting at the table as we create our CSIP. We tend to go to the same groups of parents. This is definitely an area I need to grow in. #VAESPChat

A3: It's all about relationships! Their voice matters. It's our job to give them the school experience they may not have had. Being on the same team is key. #VAESPChat

A4: I remember elementary school carnivals. My mom volunteered and I enjoyed being in the school after school hours and seing teachers outside of the classroom setting. #VAESPChat
