If the Bruins give Swayman 7 million, they will be paying 10 million for goalies. That's way too much. That's roughly 2 million more than they paid for last years tandem and 2 less than they would have paid by just keeping Ullmark. This is a horrible decision.

IMO the Bruins have gotten overconfident when it comes to Goalie-Bob and how he can "coach-up" goalies and get them to perform their best. Goalie-Bob is going to need a magic wand to fix Kopisalo. For all those people saying wait and see. Fans will complain about this for 4 years

After Sweenious signs Swayman for 7 million, I bet he nickel and dimes the rest away on guys like van Riemsdyk. People were guessing the Bruins would get Chychrun but the return was spare parts. Mark my words, not one top talent will be brought in over the summer.

The first deal Sweeney needed to get done is not done. As a result, the last deal he needs to get done isn't getting done. The depth/scoring winger is not going to get done because of Sway negotiations. By the time Sway is done, there will be no one left. 🤦‍♂️

The Bruins desperately needed more offense. Jim Montgomery said, "You can't win ever game 2-1!" Sweeney didn't get enough offense. This idea of promotion from within is a big leap of faith. Doing things by committee doesn't work. They got good players but not the right players

For the next 2-3 years, Swayman is not that much better than Ullmark, if at all. 5 or 6 years from now he'll be better than Ullmark. Maybe they should have kept Ullmark and got a bigger haul for Swayman. The Bruins would have been better off financially.
