As part of the ICRC New Delhi visit to the Maldives, Kedir Awol Omar, HoRD ICRC New Delhi met with Ali Ihusaan, Minister of Homeland Security and Technology; Rizna Aishath, Chief Judicial Administrator & Bradley Busetto, UN Resident Coordinator in the Maldives, to discuss areas of common interest.

It was a pleasure to meet Her Excellency Sheryna Abdul Samad, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Maldives. Thank you for constructive and engaging discussions for further strengthening the ICRC-Maldives relationship.

It was a distinct honor to meet His Excellency, the Vice President of the Maldives, Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef. His warm hospitality and our comprehensive discussions further strengthen the relationship between the ICRC and the Maldives.

In his first visit to the Regional Delegation in New Delhi, Yoann Davison, Operations Coordinator for Asia and the Pacific, held important meetings with Ministries and had productive engagements with the Indian Red Cross Society NHQ and Red Cross Gujarat.

The Head of Regional Delegation of ICRC Mr Kedir Awol Omar and his Team paid a courtesy visit today to Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zareer. Both parties discussed about the current situation and ways to enhance further collaboration.
