On the 23rd May, food delivery workers will be taking to the street to protest outside Deliveroo’s AGM. While the fat cat bosses celebrate the money they have made from the mass exploitation of their workforce, workers will be coming together to show they will not accept it!

Totally agree. We're facing devastating cuts to adult social care in the High Peak. Proposed closure of all the current council run day centres. This is the only respite we get as carers. Will be left with nothing but 24/7 caring duites & NO BREAKS. How is this a life to live?

is being featured more than ever - but for things to change we must talk about it as a collective problem. This will happen to everyone in some way. How do we start to think collectively about a different future. Follow Care Full if you want to explore.

Absolutely spot on from Burnham. R2B has been a driver of housing crisis. However, it shouldn't be suspended - it should be scrapped altogether! as we argued here: newstatesman.com/spotlight/econ…

Research also undertaken by Unite the union: join a union has revealed that corporate profits, not workers’ wages, are at the heart of the cost of living crisis. And whole swathes of corporate Britain are being allowed to get away with it. theguardian.com/business/2024/…

This is a really important framing, laying bare the systemic upkeep of a cycle between value, stigma & control. It’s great to see care woven through this work as this is a cycle that individualises unpaid labour and justifies an erosion of collective support.

The invasion of Rafah is underway. This will lead to the mass slaughter of terrified, exhausted people in the very place they had been told they would be safe.

Quite interesting looking at the Trafford results. All the wards in Stretford Inc GH has seen the Greens take more seats than the Tories. A shift in demographics but also the local Tories being completely out of step with climate concerns.

For me, the increase in independent councillors is possibly the most telling thing from the election results so far. Is anyone doing any work on understanding who they're replacing or what they loosely stand for?
