Houses in 5 Miles village, located in Pu Law Township of Myeik District, were set on fire by junta troops advancing toward the area. On September 14, following clashes at the Phaw junction, the advancing junta column reportedly began setting fire to homes & detaining villagers.

In the second week of September, a junta’s regiment of about 80 troops launched a military operation in villages in Pu Law Township, Tenasserim Division. The troops burnt down nine houses, arrested more than 50 villagers, and used them as human shields.

Artillery Battalion No. 315, stationed in Waekali village, Thanbyuzayat Township, Mon State, has consistently fired artillery shells toward Anan Kwin and nearby villages despite no active battles. The shelling has been almost daily, with attacks on Sept 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, and 17.

On September 18, at 9 PM, more than 20 members of the junta’s joint forces raided the office of an independent charity group in Thanbyuzayat, Mon State, and arrested five members, including the group's chairman. The five detained individuals are currently being interrogated.

On September 11, four villagers, including three women, were killed in a drone bombing attack carried out by junta troops in Kywe Htain Kone village, Tanintharyi Township, Myeik District, according to reports from local residents and a statement from the #KNU.

Flooding in #KNU-controlled areas has severely impacted the population, with over 200,000 people in urgent need of emergency assistance. This number is expected to rise, as reports have yet to come in from all affected villages and townships.

Since early September 2024, artillery units from the Junta military's light infantry and artillery battalions in Ye Township, Mon State, have launched indiscriminate attacks targeting fruit plantations, rubber farms, and local farmland. These attacks have not been provoked.

Three women were severely injured by a drone strike conducted by the military junta in Nyaung Pin Kone village, Ban La Mut village tract, Tanintharyi Township, Myeik District, on September 23rd, despite no active fighting at the time.

Junta troops have once again set fire to homes in Maung Mae Shaung village, located near the Technological University on the Yangon-Dawei highway in Dawei Township, following an armed clash in the area.
