The current House of Commons has more state-educated MPs than ever before! Only 4% of the cabinet attended private school, vs 60% of the last. We shared this with our young people at 10 Downing Street, showing them they too belong in the corridors of power. More to come! 👀

🌟 Breaking barriers in global careers! 🌍 Last week, 6 of our amazing young people completed a transformative work experience at Maples Group, gaining hands-on skills in law & finance. Together, we're rewriting the narrative for underrepresented youth.

In response to the recent riots, we partnered with Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, Debbie Weekes-Bernard and Chelsea Foundation to bring together a diverse group of young people to share their experiences, fears and hopes as part of the Mayor’s #SharedEndeavourFund. Together we say #NoToHate ☮️

Underrepresented young people are over twice as likely to be out of work five years after their GCSEs. A lack of access to workplaces they aspire to contributes to this. Bridging this gap through work experience can be hugely impactful. Thank you The EBRD for hosting us!

The plan to remove hereditary peers from the House of Lords is a win for fairness. It’s hard to inspire underrepresented youth to believe “anything is possible” when all 92 hereditary peers are white men. This change shows that the UK values merit, not inheritance.

Only 21% of executive roles in finance are held by women. We're partnering with Treasury Today Group as their official social impact partner to change that! To launch this partnership, our young people will attend the Women in Treasury Forum next week to network and be inspired.
